The majority of performance issues encountered within a Local Area Network (LAN) can be attributed either directly or indirectly to the performance of the installed cabling system.

Structured cabling is a local area network which is made specifically to requirements of a company where the network is built into the structure.
MS Installations have vast experience in the design and implementation of all standards of structured cabling systems from the early IBM types, Cat 3, Cat 5e, Cat 6/A up to the newly IEEE ratified 10 Gb/s copper Ethernet cables, incorporating all industry advancements into a wide variety of environments and applications to ensure your LAN runs trouble free.

All structured cabling installations are tested with the relevant test equipment and all test equipment is calibrated as per standards. Test results are issued electronically with relevant software and licences as appropriate. Calibration certificates are supplied as standard with all O&M manuals.

With the advancement in transmission technology and relevant speed increases, Local Area Networks are coming under increasing strain as the size and volume of data has increased considerably.  It is therefore even more important in the present structured cabling market that the installation of Cat 5e, Cat 6 and especially Cat 6A and Cat 7 networks are done professionally and within the relevant issued standards.

MS Installations operate an in house warranty on all structured cabling system that runs inline with the product specific warranty applicable to each project. Although we are not aligned to any specific manufacturer we do work closely with several market leaders and we ensure that we are able to issue relevant product warranties on any specified systems before accepting any order.

Fibre Optic installations form an integral part of most installed LANs and almost all WANs (Wide Area Networks) and as such we have a fully trained and conversant staff able to deal with all aspects of fibre optic installs. All operatives are trained to City and Guild standards as a minimum before working on fibre related projects. As part of our ongoing commitment we have a stock of Fujikura Fusion Splicers and OTDRs which can be deployed as required. All equipment is kept current and calibrated.
